PAV3 Gear & Chain Drive Kit
This is a complete kit including the engine, plus the following parts that are needed to install on most Trikes:
PAV3 Gear & Chain Drive Kit. This gear and chain drive kit mounts under the seat of the PAV3. You can move the seat front and back and have full use of the basket, not shown in these pictures. You can start the engine from the seated position. No drilling or welding of the frame. It freewheels when coasting and you can still use the rear coaster brake and change gears when you pedal. Honda GX35 35 cc 1.60 hp four Cycle, many other engines will also work like the Robin - Subaru EH035 33.5 cc 1.60 hp Four Cycle and the Super Quiet 43 cc 2.20 hp two Cycle Mitsubishi. Other engines will also mount to our custom made gear box. Complete engine kit ONLY. The PAV3 is NOT included.

The Staton-Inc 18.75 to 1 Outside Drivegear reduction box that has Six high speed double sealed ball bearings, 1/2 inch thick gears, a 5/8 inch outside drive output shaft that has a 3/16 inch keyway along with two snap ring groves to hold the sprocket in place.
The gear box has a centrifugal clutch and the engines are all easy pull start.

A machined #41 sprocket Your Choice up to 14 tooth for the gear box. Use the drop down menu when ordering.
The top speed (30 + mph) can be changed just by taking the sprocket off the gear box and replacing it with a larger one. If you want more low end pulling power and lower top end speed replace it with a smaller sprocket. Extra sprockets are on our PARTS page

A 90 inch long throttle cable and finger / thumb lever for the throttle control. (Twist grip is extra)

Remote toggle engine stop switch with handlebar mount for safety.

Note: You may need other hardware that is not included in the kit depending on the style of bike.

Honda GXH50 49.3 cc 2.50 max hp, 2.10 net hp four cycle engine with the Inside drive gear box - kit for a PAV3 trike by Worksman Cycle. This is a complete kit to motorize the trike. The engine bolts to the seat frame and makes for a very easy install. The basket is mounted as shown. The engine can still be started from the seated position.
This gear and chain drive kit mounts under the seat of the PAV3. No drilling or welding of the frame. Note: The engines shown in the pictures include a 43 cc Mitsubishi two cycle and the Honda GX35 four Cycle.
